Three Month Portraits

I got my three-month portraits taken last week. I got to wear the Notre Dame polo Papa got me...

... and a hat from Mommy! Dad made fun of my short legs.

My heart!

Riley was there to get me to smile.

By this point I was about smiled out.

Riley enjoyed throwing these fake leaves on me.

Ain't I a stinker?

Can you tell I don't miss a meal?

Okay, I'm done. I am going to be a bat for Halloween. More pics to come!

Pleased to Meet You

Greetings, gentle reader. Jack here. Welcome to my first post on my first blog ever. I wanted to call it "My First Week," but we're already past that point. What can I say, my dad really dropped the ball. Have you taken a look at my sister's blog? In the beginning that thing was updated every week. Something tells me this one won't be. I guess that's just how it goes for second children.

Anyway, enjoy these photos from my first few days (almost two weeks, sheesh!) on earth.

This photo made a lot of people think I had already arrived. That's a Curious George doll, people!
I just barely made July 16th. The official time is 11:44 pm.
8 pounds even, just like my papa John (not to be confused with the pizza guy.)
Mommy makes it better.
Meeting the old man.
Here I have my blue cap, which my parents promptly lost. Get it together, people!
Uncle Dave was in town for work so he came to see me.
This kid came to see me too. Apparently she'll be staying in the room next to me.
Been doing lots of this.
This is my going home hat.
Dad found a few photos of Riley as a newborn and insisted we do a side-by-side comparison. I'm my own person, Dad! Anyway, I don't see it.
Since I got home, I've been eating, sleeping, and modeling outfits.
Big sis has been helping out a lot. But don't leave me alone with her just yet, okay?
All right, I'll catch you guys later.
